Zootopia Crime Reveal is a dynamic B1-level lesson focused on developing listening skills through the engaging context of crime and investigation. Using characters and scenes from Zootopia, students explore key vocabulary related to crime, practise understanding spoken language, and apply new language in meaningful tasks.

How to use 🎯

1. Start with the warm-up questions to introduce the topic of crime and engage students in discussion.

2. Introduce the Zootopia characters and ask students to decide who they might make friends with, encouraging personal responses.

3. Before reading, students complete vocabulary exercises to learn key crime-related words.

4. Students then read the case file and complete reading comprehension tasks followed by a gap-filling exercise.

5. Next, students watch a movie episode and complete listening activities by:

   • answering comprehension questions
   • completing a dialogue with missing words they hear

6. For the final stage, students read news headlines and create their own case files, using the new vocabulary they have learned.
