Who Are You? | To Be

This activity features 10 slides with simple profiles of different people, including their names, ages, nationalities, and jobs. It provides clear, structured speaking practice to help A1 learners consolidate and confidently use the verb to be (am/is/are).

How to Use

1. Display a slide showing a person and their basic information.
2. Ask students to describe the person using am/is/are in full sentences.
3. Encourage responses such as:
   “She is 25 years old.”
   “He is a chef.”
   “They are from Spain.”
4. Repeat with all 10 slides for extended practice.
5. Optionally, students can then create their own short profiles and present them to the class.
