Ultimate Summer To-Dos

Ultimate Summer To-Dos is an engaging speaking activity for A2–B1 learners. Students discuss their summer experiences while practising the present perfect tense, helping them form correct sentences about activities they've done recently.

How to Use

1. Present the questions related to summer activities to the students.
   • Example questions: Have you visited the beach this summer?
   • Have you tried any new sports or hobbies?
2. Ask students to answer using the present perfect tense, e.g., Yes, I have visited the beach.
3. Encourage students to ask follow-up questions to keep the conversation flowing.
4. Pair or group students to discuss as many activities as possible, practising speaking fluency and the correct use of the present perfect tense.
5. Optionally, share interesting answers with the whole class to expand vocabulary and promote interaction.
