Spot the Mistake | 3d Person & Present Simple

Spot the Mistake is a simple and engaging grammar activity designed to help A1 learners practise the present simple (third person singular) in the context of everyday routines. Students read short “homework-style” texts and act as teachers by finding and correcting common mistakes with -s endings in verbs. The activity supports grammar awareness while reinforcing daily routine vocabulary in a meaningful way.

How to use 🎯

1. Give students one of the worksheets from the set (5 worksheets included).
2. Students read the texts carefully.
3. Their task is to find and correct mistakes related to the third person -s in the present simple tense.
4. Students can work individually, in pairs, or check answers together as a class.
