This festive warm-up helps students review and expand their winter holiday vocabulary while sharing their thoughts on Christmas-themed prompts. Each slide features a Christmas tree decorated with baubles, and each bauble presents a different holiday-related caption to spark quick thinking and discussion. Suitable for all levels from A1 to C1.

How to Use

1. Show the slide with the Christmas tree and its captioned baubles.
2. Ask students to name 5 items for each bauble (e.g., Name 5 Christmas foods, Name 5 Christmas traditions).
3. Give students time to think individually or work in pairs/groups to brainstorm their lists.
4. Have students share their answers with the class and compare ideas.
5. Extension:
   • Add a timer to make the activity more dynamic.
   • For higher levels, ask students to explain their choices in detail, give examples, or justify why these items fit the category.
