My Dream House Corner

My Dream House Corner is a speaking and grammar activity designed for A1 learners to describe different rooms, practise house vocabulary, and use the structures there is/there are. Students also get to express their preferences and opinions about various room styles.

How to Use

1. Show each slide featuring three photos of different rooms.
2. Ask students to describe what they see using there is/there are and relevant furniture vocabulary.
3. Encourage students to say which room they like most and explain why.
4. Use the provided speaking prompts and extra questions to guide discussion.
5. Rotate students or pairs to allow everyone to participate and compare their answers.
