Christmas Emoji Stories

Christmas Emoji Stories is a creative speaking activity that adds a warm, festive atmosphere to your winter lessons. Using emojis as story prompts, students create short Christmas-themed stories while practising fluency, imagination, and language accuracy. The activity is highly adaptable and works equally well as a quick warm-up, a main speaking task, or a light creative grammar practice for A1–B2 learners.

How to use

1. Look at the emojis and create a short Christmas story that connects all the symbols.
2. Students can work individually, in pairs, or in small groups, depending on the lesson aim and time available.
