A2 Christmas Alias Cards

This fun and engaging activity is designed to help A2 learners revise and activate their winter and Christmas vocabulary. Each card contains five festive words that students must explain without saying the word itself. Perfect as a warm-up, icebreaker, or end-of-lesson challenge during the holiday season.

How to Use

• There are 7 pictures, and each one presents 5 Christmas-related words.
• Students work individually or in groups.
• Set a timer for 1 minute.
• The student (or team) must explain all 5 words on the card as quickly and clearly as possible.
• 1 word = 1 point.
• Rotate turns so every student gets a chance to explain.
• Continue playing until all cards are used.
• The student or group with the most points wins.
